Finding a home, a neighbor, or that thing you half remember
Two ways in, and you do not need to know which part of the software owns the thing you are looking for.
The search box
It sits at the top of your dashboard and again at the top of Everything else. It looks through homes, people, repairs, violations, change requests, vendors, bills, documents and announcements, all at once.
Type whatever you actually remember. A surname on its own. Part of an address. A word from the title of a repair. If you type a number, we take it as a work order number and put that job first, so typing 7 or #7 finds request number 7.
Results come back grouped by kind, so you can see at a glance whether the thing you want is a home, a person, or a job. If nothing matches, we say so and list the places we looked, rather than leaving you wondering whether the search worked.
The page for one home
Click any address, anywhere in the software, and you land on that home. Who lives there and who gets the bills. What is owed and what has been paid. Every repair, open ones first. Violations, change requests, amenity bookings, and what the house is made of.
Each section shows the most recent few and links through to the full list. It is the page to open before a board meeting when somebody asks "what is going on at number 14", because the answer is one page instead of six.
Clicking a person's name works the same way: what is on their plate, which home they are attached to, what they have reported and what they have asked the board for.
Editing is still there
Both pages open as something to read, because that is what you want nine times out of ten. When you do need to change something, the Edit this home and Edit this person buttons are at the top right.
Did this answer it? If not, email us; a human replies, usually same day.
