Questions about the bill
Is there a contract?
No. Month to month, cancel anytime, and your data exports with you.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Your first 30 days are free with no card on file: that is a month of real requests, and a board meeting to look at it together. We set up billing together when you decide to stay.
Does the founding rate ever change?
Never while you are subscribed. $59 is your rate for as long as your community stays, no matter what we charge later or what we ship later: every future feature is included.
What about dues collection and accounting?
Online dues collection is live: one invoice per home, residents pay by bank transfer or card with no account, and the money settles straight to the association's own bank. It is included with every community at the same flat price, founding or standard. We switch it on by hand, because it moves real money: ask us from the Dues page and we usually answer the same day, then setting up payouts with Stripe takes about ten minutes. Full accounting stays with your bookkeeper or QuickBooks; we hand them a clean export.
Does the price change as our community grows?
No. It is one flat rate per community whether you have 25 homes or 250. There are no per-door fees, no per-user seats, and no charge for adding board members.
Who pays the card and bank fees on dues?
The resident paying does, and the amount is shown plainly on the payment page before they choose. Bank transfer is 0.8%, rounded up to the dollar and never more than $5, so $3 on $300 of dues; a card is 2.9% plus 30 cents, so $9.27 on the same $300. The association receives the full dues amount, and neighborPOP takes no cut of any payment.
What happens to our data if we leave?
You export the directory, work orders, documents, and financial history first, then we delete what remains. There is no hostage period and no export fee.
Not the one who decides?
Almost nobody is. Put your community's name in and we will make you a one-page sheet to print for the board: what it does, what it costs you, and honest answers to what they will ask.
