Import without fear
Upload any CSV export (Wild Apricot, a management company report, a plain spreadsheet). You map the columns, preview the result, then commit. People are matched by email, so running an import twice updates records instead of duplicating them, and an import never blows away a field you fixed by hand or downgrades anyone's role.
People are more than one email address
Real neighbors have a work address and a personal one, or the address the old roster had plus the one they actually use. A person can carry several addresses: any of them can sign in and send requests, while community email goes once to their main address. Spouses each get their own entry, the way an actual household works.
Roles decide what people see
Admins run the community, board members see approvals and reports, residents see their own requests and community pages. One directory drives all of it: promote a new board member in one dropdown, and their view changes the moment they next sign in. Vendors stay out of the directory entirely; they get job links, not accounts.

We left Wild Apricot. Will the export import cleanly?
Yes. Wild Apricot's member CSV is the exact file the importer was built against, quirks and all.
Can a resident update their own info?
They can email their community address ('we got a new phone number') and AI triage stages the change for admin approval. Direct self-service editing is on the roadmap.
Is the directory visible to everyone?
No. The directory is an admin tool. Residents never see each other's contact information through neighborPOP.
